Can You Recover From Anxiety Disorder And Feel Normal Again?
Can you recover from anxiety disorder and feel completely normal again?
Yes, you can recover from anxiety disorder and anxiety symptoms and feel completely normal again. In fact, you can go back to living a normal life without concern about problematic anxiety.
That has been our experience personally – all of us at anxietycentre.com have recovered from debilitating anxiety disorder and have lived normal lives for many years – and from working with many anxiety disorder sufferers over the years who have also recovered and are living normal lives again.
When we do the right recovery work, normal living naturally follows.
Unfortunately, many people make anxiety into a larger problem than it needs to be. Anxiety is caused by apprehensive behavior, such as worry. Everyone worries from time to time. So, it’s not that apprehensive behavior and anxiety are abnormal.
However, anxiety becomes a problem when we behave apprehensively often and to higher degrees than what’s considered normal. And that’s the problem: anxious people worry more than others, and their bodies experience more stress than others. Stress creates symptoms.
Consequently, anxiety is not a disease we must recover from or a medical condition we must learn to live with. To eliminate anxiety symptoms, we need to reduce stress and allow sufficient time for the body to recover.
Once the body has recovered, it stops sending symptoms, and normal health returns.
To maintain anxiety symptom-free living, we need to address the underlying factors that cause issues with anxiety. As we reduce anxious behavior overall, the body doesn’t become chronically stressed and symptomatic again.
Once the body recovers from chronic stress, and as we live a much less anxious lifestyle, normal health naturally follows.
Managing stress well and containing anxious behavior leads to a normal life. There is no need to worry about not achieving complete recovery since it naturally follows when we do the right work.

Unidentified and unaddressed underlying factors are the biggest barriers to returning to normal, anxiety disorder-free health. Unless anxiety’s underlying factors are addressed, we’ll continue to live apprehensively, causing issues with stress and symptoms.
Consequently, unaddressed underlying factors can interfere with recovery and even cause a return to a struggle with anxiety disorder, even if you were able to eliminate symptoms for a while.
Unaddressed underlying factors are the main reason people repeatedly rebound to anxiety disorder and symptoms.
Yes, we can eliminate anxiety disorder and feel completely normal again – actually, we can feel much better than normal once we’ve done our recovery work. But we must do the right work. Otherwise, we get the same result: issues with anxiety that cause problems with stress and symptoms.
Working with an experienced anxiety disorder therapist is the most effective way to address the underlying factors (Level Two Recovery) that cause issues with anxiety disorder and its symptoms.
Without professional help, our experience has shown that it’s unlikely you’ll make the kind of recovery you’ll be happy with, or that will last.
We developed our therapy option because we saw too many people return again and again to a struggle with anxiety disorder and symptoms when using a self-help approach alone.

Again, yes! You can feel completely normal again and live without bothersome anxiety and its symptoms. Attaining Level Two recovery makes this degree of success attainable.[1][2]
