Can addressing my anxiety issues reduce stress?

If I address my anxiety by working on my underlying factors, will my overall stress level come down to where it was when it was normal for me (which has always been quite high), or will it reset to an even lower level and then that level becomes my new normal stress level?

Dealing with your anxiety by addressing Level One and Level Two recovery (especially Level Two recovery – the underlying factors that create problems with anxiety) will reduce your overall stress and increase the quality of your life experience.

So, yes! Not only will dealing with your anxiety issues reduce stress to what has been your normal level, but it will also reduce it much further. And yes, that further reduction will then become your new “normal.”

When you replace unhealthy anxious behavior with healthy, non-anxious behavior, the sky is the limit regarding of how low your stress can drop overall.

So, rather than always being in stress damage control, you can live without stress being a bother.

More importantly, dealing with your anxiety will eliminate problems with anxiety and its symptoms once and for all and greatly improve your overall life experience, including your relationships.

Overcoming anxiety disorder can bring remarkable results when a person is determined to succeed.

This doesn’t mean overcoming anxiety disorder is easy or quick. But it does mean when you do the work, you can succeed, and the benefits are far-reaching.

The combination of good self-help information and working with an experienced anxiety disorder therapist, coach, or counselor is the most effective way to address anxiety and its many symptoms. Until the core causes of anxiety are addressed – which we call the underlying factors of anxiety – a struggle with anxiety unwellness can return again and again. Dealing with the underlying factors of anxiety is the best way to address problematic anxiety.
