The conference also endured some significant challenges. Tensions and conflicts throughout the world have made travel difficult for many people. Such difficulties complicate the planning and organization of international gatherings. Consequently, this year's attendance was less than expected and our usual two day event had to be scaled down to a single day. Presenters who were unable to attend are represented in these proceedings.

I want to thank everyone for their participation and support. The members of our scientific advisory committee and organizing committee continued to kindly volunteer their valuable time. The time and effort expended by our presenters and attendees is also deeply appreciated.
